Spending time with Dr. Strand is like immersing yourself into a textbook regarding motor speech disorders. Dr. Strand's knowledge is wide span and provided me with the greater depth of information to guide my practice. I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn from such an expert!

Jennifer J.SLP and Online Course Participant

The presenter provided a clear understanding of the material and reviewed important points appropriately. I found this course very valuable in helping differentiate CAS from other motor speech disorders and implementing the best treatment strategies for these kids.

Great course! The ability to see the presenter was very effective in helping the audience to be engaged. Also, the video examples allowed the viewers to have a better understanding of the subject at hand. Highly engaging and informative!

I have found Dr. Strand's course very helpful in my day to day clinical practice with preschool and school aged children. Her emphasis on teaching the various components of motor learning as it relates to speech production was enlightening. I also use the prompting/cueing strategies, and have had a great deal of success! I believe it is because I am now giving the children very specific feedback that enables them to change their production so it matches my model. Without a doubt, the children benefit from this multisensory approach. I am grateful to have had the opportunity to attend her course. Thank you Dr. Strand and NYU!!!

I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from Dr. Edythe Strand to provide DTTC to my patients with CAS. Understanding how to target specific movement gestures to improve the overall efficiency of a child's motor speech system has been instrumental in my practice. It has been particularly amazing to see the generalization of production precision and accuracy to untrained movement gestures; a true testament to how effectively this protocol works!! For example, although not directly targeted or trained, I observed the elimination of a patient's voicing errors following 1-2 months of DTTC treatment. Thank you so much!
